- Leverage existing phones and fax machines -- use our specialized ATA (Analog Telephone Adapter) device which turns existing analog devices into IP-enabled communication end points. Simply plug computers, analog telephones and fax machines into the ATA which connects to your existing broadband connection. Each ATA device has 1 Ethernet port for WAN connectivity, 2, 4 or 8 FXS telephony ports for analog phones or fax machines, and 1 extra Ethernet port for configuration support.
