An Internet Access Device (IAD) is installed in your office, allowing an existing analog or digital phone system to be connected to the IP-based Intelliverse service. There is no need to replace any of your phones or change your phone numbers. Your phones stay connected to your existing phone system, as they are today.
During the professional installation, the old outside phone lines are disconnected from your phone system and then the system is connected to the new IAD. The IAD is connected to your data router and will route your voice traffic to Intelliverse over the internet. Your phone system will continue to support station to station calling, voicemail, and hunt groups/rollovers.
IADs enable existing telephones to work with Intelliverse’s Hosted VoIP technology

Auto-Attendant is a 24-hour automated system that answers all incoming calls, presents a brief menu of choices and efficiently routes callers.
Hunt Group creation allows you to create and maintain your own list of phone numbers that are available to efficiently answer incoming calls, by either blast or sequential groups.
Extension Dialing and Call Transfer provides reliable PBX quality extension dialing. With the benefit of IP communications, your remote and home-based workers can set up four-digit extension dialing, regardless of their location. |
|
Self Administration: Allows you the ability to create and manage user accounts within a single master account. This technology will save a SMB client external programming charges and provide internal tracking features. |
...with IP Phones
Just plug one end of the Ethernet cable into the IP phone and the other end into an open port on your router or directly into a high speed modem. The IP phone will also work with a wireless router – just use the Ethernet cable to connect the IP phone directly to the wireless router.

- Connects directly to an IP PBX

...with Existing Phones or Fax Machines
Simply plug computers and analog telephones or fax machines into the Analog Telephone Adapter (ATA) which connects to an existing broadband connection. Our specialized ATA devices turn existing analog telephones into IP-enabled communication end points. Each ATA device has 1 Ethernet port for WAN connectivity, 2, 4 or 8 FXS telephony ports for analog phones or fax machines, and 1 extra Ethernet port for configuration support.
To service the strict demands of the SMB market, the ATA devices provide voice and fax connectivity for remote or branch locations.
